I have a 90 day late on a card from WFNNB that I've been sending GW letters for. On 9/19, WFNNB softed my report, and on 9/20, a couple days after my latest GW letter, the lates suddenly disappeared from my EQ & TU report, but remained on EX. My EQ FICO shot up about 40 points immediately. I kept waiting for EX to hopefully update with the lates removed, but it never did.
Today, I pulled my daily reports from USAA, and the lates are back on EQ! TU is still clean for now, but I imagine it's only a matter of time before they're back there too.
Needless to say, I'm really, really disappointed.
I'm trying to figure out what in the world happened. I'm guessing that the person who attempted to comply with my GW request must not have done it properly? Obviously the lates were still in WFNNB's system, and my EQ report shows that WFNNB last reported that account yesterday, 10/04. This account is still open, but hasn't been used in over a year. Incidentally, the account was opened on the 4th of a month as well, so maybe that's the statement/reporting date, which is why it reported again? Interestingly, EX shows that the account was last reported more than a year ago, which I guess is why it never even updated to show the lates being removed at all.
I guess at this point there's nothing I can do except go back to sending GW letters. Sigh. :/

And now they're back on TU too. I really wish I knew exactly what happened. Going to mail another GW letter on Tuesday. ![]()

As of this morning, the lates are gone from TU again! I sent another GW last week. I'm not even sure they would have gotten it yet though, so I don't have a clue what's going on with this account. Very strange!
The lates are still there on EQ and EX. Guess I'll wait and see what happens over the next few days. Fingers crossed, again!
