Late payments on paid car loan

Hi everyone. I did some searching but couldn't quite find an answer for this question. I just upgrade to a new car and a new car loan. With the old loan closing out as paid, how will any late payments I have on there be affected?

They'll be there until 7 years from the Date of each occurrence
