 I hheard lates affect for only two years but I still see a red flag next to mine on my fico.

GOAL 2008- 700s+ new car

7 to 7.5 years to totally go away.  They are less bad as they age.
 
But everything depends on what else is on the report - if one baddie drops off and 286 remain, it won't make much difference.  :smileyvery-happy:
 
When my ONLY collection fell of after 6.75 years it was worth over 50 points
