Lates showing up on closed accounts

Anyone have this happen.  I have a installment account that was paid in full in 2006 and close (even says its closed on credit report), but on my credit report I pulled on Friday it is showing as the current status as 30 days past due even thought it says it was closed.

Same on a credit card , I also have a revolving credit card account that I paid in full and closed in 2006 that is showing a current status as 90 days past due.

Any thoughts on how to rectify this?

Your CR stores prior delinquencies on each account.  If you either then pay or close the account, this does not erase the fact of the prior delinquency.

I dont think they are reporting you as currently delinquent.  It is probably just the continued inclusion of the prior derog, which is proper.
