After opening a couple store cards, how long do I wait before I hit the love button? 6 months?
Depends on the card, GECRB/Synchrony issued cards every 4 months, Comenity 9 months from time of open, 6 months is a good round number to figure on for most.
Is it a HP when you do this? I was thinking about trying with one of my Comenity store cards.

Most of Synchronys are based on SP there are a few that result in HPs Care Credit is one of them, same with Comenity most would be SPs for CLIs, you can pose a question on the individual account you are seeking the info on in the credit card forum there are some gurus that hang out in that forum that know their credit cards. Good luck
Thanks. I went ahead and tried the Luv Button on Victoria's Secret and got the wait 7-10 days message and that I would receive something in the mail. That was 5 days ago...trying to be patient, since I am sure it's a NO.
Pottery barn for me was 6 months, then 3 months.
Victoria Secret constantly says NO for CLI.....it appears that I don't use this card enough. Yep, they're right.
Pottery barn is a SP, Care Credit is a HP.
Try Lowe's....they're good with accounts. You can call credit solutions and ask for a CLI right away (like next day).
DH went from $800 to $10000

Do you happen to know what credit score Lowes pulls? I would LOVE a Lowes card, but I am sure I am just not there yet.
Can't give you a cookie cutter answer to this one. It's lender specific so do your research on each lender.
