Hey guys!! I have 2 other posts related to this one:

I disputed Midland on all 3 CR...TU was the first to respond...I sent copies of my court ruling, CR from 2007 and 2008. I'm so happy and I would like to thank all the people that responded to my previous posts!! I see the power in keeping copies of everything and disputing!! I will update once I get another copy of my TU score.
Congrats!
It's always warming to see fellow consumers get results!
I just had a paid MCM account deleted off of Experian today. It was on an Aspire Visa account that they shouldn't have been reporting anyway as per the FTC ruling.
Still waiting to hear from Equifax.
About to snail mail another dispute over to TransUnion. I still have a Continental Finance/First Bank of Delaware account still reporting when it should've been removed as per the ruling, as well the paid MCM account.
We'll see what happens...still waiting to hear from MCM after sending them a nasty letter about how they were reporting duplicate accounts to Equifax....bastids.
ordered TU CR today.I have a 678!!!! the last time I checked TU on myfico was 2010 and I had a 581!!! what an increase!! With Midland I would suggest disputing with the CB directly bc that seems like the only way you can get results.
I just heard back for EQ and they said they will NOT delete!! What should I do?

Can you tell me about this FTC ruling and where I might find the details of it?
I just googled FTC vs CompuCredit...everything is there...more than you'd even want to look at..hahah

I just received two notices from Midland that each of my First Bank of Delaware collection accounts have been removed from all three credit reporting agencies! Woo hoo
Of course, I filed complaints with the BBB, the CA AG, and my state AG. And just recently, my state AG filed a lawsuit against them. So I'm not sure which of these convinced Midland to remove, but I sure am happy!!!

Yay! I swear, Midland is probably the worst CA I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
Still waiting for them to delete the duplicate entry off of my EQ, but it could just be held up because I disputed with the CRA's...we'll see. I check every day.

Did Midland do the duplicate entries on Equifax only? They did that to me in March. It took about 4 weeks after filing the first complaint before I received my notice they were deleting.
Good luck, I agree Mudland is the worst!!!
