MIDLAND Deleted

I had a chargeoff with HSBC that was sold to MIDLAND on 11/2011. MIDLAND finally agreed to delete the  account  after numerous Dv letters and sent me a letter to that effect. However in the letter it states they will remove the account from their system but not from the  orginal creditor. Does this mean I will get a letter from another colelction agency in near future.

Maybe, Maybe not.  If the DoFD is still under 7.5 yrs then it is possible, but what they mean by that is actually that they cannot remove HSBC's record, only their own.  Depending on the amount, they may not waste their time on selling it off to someone else.  Good Luck!
