Re: MIDLAND issues

i need to rant/vent.. so i just googled the CEO and CFO and saw how much they make a year and its making me so mad because all this company does is collects debts. i cant even imgiane that they would make as much as they did but they do and these are a few guys that i dont think deserve a single cent they get. MCM is by far the worst CA i ever delt with and they need to be shut down... i think if what is happening with EQ reports calls for a class action against MCM. from what i learned in my BLAW class the CEO can be perosnally held for what is comapny does. rant/vent over

Re: MIDLAND issues

I bet it was every single account holder with them. What a debacle. Just think of the poor consumer who never looks at their reports.

My sister is a member of Equifax complete advantage and noticed on 02/22/12 that MCM had listed the same account twice. She called and spoke with a CSR of Equifax and advised them of the duplicate entries. The CSR stated she would delete them over the phone as she noticed the same account number being reported twice.

On 02/23/12 she refreshed her Equifax credit report and the extra entry by Midland Funding, LLC. was deleted from negative accounts.

Re: MIDLAND issues

so i just pulled my EQ  and they are counting in my PAID MCM account in to my utl....and my score went down another 20 points

Is it better to have the collections showed as closed on in dispute

I got that email as well. You should be getting one soon that says they do not share information via email blah blah blah...and it will tell you to call to discuss the matter.

Re: MIDLAND issues

This is not reporting glitch with Midland - They have been doing this on my CRs for YEARS!  EQ is the only CRA that does not allow them to do it.  I have repeatedly disputed with EX and TU!  Two years ago, they won a judgement against me - in a backhanded way -  (judgement against me for not proving that I sent Midland copies of  all of my documenting evidence that I submitted to the court).  But for years before that, they reported this collections as a new collections every month and I got absolutely nowhere with TU and EX.   Today, I checked all three credit reports for the first time in a while, and I see that - EX reports both the judgement and the collections - but the collections reports as closed and in dispute.  TU reports it as open.  There is a part of me that wants to go in and dispute with TU again, but I am afraid of awaking this beast.  I am tinking they have never verified with EQ or EX.  I disputed this nearly a year ago, and never heard from either company.  Shouldn't EX have removed this by now?

*Note to self* Remember why and for how long you had to rebuild in the first place! One Day at a Time, One Day at a Time!
