Macys/Bloomingdales GW letter

Has anyone had any luck with GW letters to Macy's or Bloomindales? I have already send 1 to each but came back saying what they are reporting accurate information. Both paid in full right after charge off about 5 years ago.

I got two lates removed a couple months ago. I used the email question service on macys.com. I got a response of "we forwarded your request to the credit dept." I waited a month or so and I sent a GW to the address on my credit report, and got a delete response a couple weeks later. So I dont know which method worked. either way, be persistent.

I think having the account still opened and in good standing probably really helps on increasing your chances of successfully having the GW letter work by having a late payment removed from the bureau.

That is great news.   I sent in a letter about 60 days ago and have not heard one word.  I still wish the company was J. L. Hudsons and not Macys!
