"Fall off" is credit report exclusion, not a deletion from your file.
Exclusion prevents the CRA from including the information in normal credit reports they issue
It remains in your file, and could, for example, still be included in a speciial, full factual report is requested for any of the reasons set forth in FCRA 605(b).
Deletion is preferred over credit report exclusion, as it is more than simple exclusion.
