Macys

I am trying to close on my house and my score has gone down when I took off the disputes. In addition Macys in being reported incurrately. This is how:

This is a charged off acct in 2010. They reported in Aug 2014 and Jan 2015 that I was 90 days late. They are also reporting a bal 572 with open account and credit limit of 190. I believe this is hurting my credit score. I did nt think they could report 90 days late after my last payment was in 2010. This is with MACYS still and I have paid this account off yesterday. What is my best solution for a quick fix to improve my score?

There is nothing that is going to improve your score immediately unless you got a successful PFD with them, when they update to paid its just as bad in Ficos eyes as an unpaid CO.

They can update that to say Paid CO was 90, its the fact that its a CO that is the most damaging part.
