Re: Madmann26's rebuild thread

Update:

My 2 CO's are now paid. I am waiting for them to update.

After a few setbacks while trying to get back into the rebuilding game with CC's, I have my first one enroute. I'll be an AU on my wife's Cap1 card.

It gets discouraging when you have certain goals in mind or want to do something and keep getting pushed back. Just keep your head up and strive to move forward.

Re: Madmann26's rebuild thread

Well.

Was sitting here watching tv and a got an email about a score change. I log in and see a +38 point increase. This is because of a balance update to 2 charge-offs. Though, one of them is still wrong but I'll take it.

At one point my FICO score dipped to 511 but had been at 517 for a couple of weeks.

Thanks to everyone for the encouragement.

Re: Madmann26's rebuild thread

Madmann,

The CO's that you paid on, were they reporting the balance as past due balance from the OC? Im hoping to see an increase to my scores also from paying my last CO that shows past due or delinquent. Some have said that paying a CO will not affect scores?

Re: Madmann26's rebuild thread

The CO balance is being factored into your utilization which is killing your score, as it was mine.

Re: Madmann26's rebuild thread

I just pulled my TU FICO and it's up to 564. I would really like to break the 600 mark my the first of the year but I don't know if that will happen. I'll just keep plugging away.

Stallings Financial CA is gone. That's worth 12 FAKO points.
