Hello all:
Is there anyone out there who has sucessfully had their legitimate tax lien from the state of Maryland removed from their credit report. If so, how exactly did you do it? I am desperate to have mine removed ASAP.

If its paid you would try the lien withdrawl route with the filing entity...
Search Maryland state law some states have legislation in place for the removal of state tax liens others do not.
Not sure if you still need help with this, but yes I successfully had the state of Maryland withdraw my tax lien after it was paid. Very easy. They actually have a process.
What is the process for removal an email to the Comptroller?
What was the process? I am looking into this as well.
Thanks!
As far as removing it from your credit, you may have to write a GW letter. They will withdraw it from the court system and it will be shown as satisfied. I had spoken to numerous people who have told me they had to write letters to get them to "remove it from their reports". You want to first make sure they mark it satisified with your local court house first before trying to get them to remove it. Please let me know how you make out, I am about to do the same here in October.
Mine has been satisfied for years now, but I have had no success getting them to remove it. What OP did here was have it vacated and thats what I need, so I am interested to know exactly who she emailed so that I may be able to give it a shot.
I also have a satified tax lien that I would like to have removed can you please inbox me the email address as well. Thanks
To have it vacated, just simply email the controller of Maryland. The address is on the state of Maryland website, so I will be it here: 'mdcomptroller@comp.state.md.us'
I simply stated that I had paid my state tax lien, included all revelant information, told her I was trying to clean up my credit, they called me in 2 days, and VACATED AND WITHDREW!
