Little update on my progress since I started to pay these down:
-Consolidated some of these into the Penfed 60 months $25,000 ($24,390 balance).
Current CC's with balance:
$14,750 down to $13,850 8.9% (CL of $15,000)
$6,500 0% (balance transfer discover for 9 months and CL of $6,500)
All other cards are paid off!
Roughly $56,350 balance down to $44,740 and only 2 CC in maxed status and scores have jumped back up to 729 as well!

I have 2 Chase cards, a United ($3k CL) and a CSP ($14.3k CL). I know the Chase Slate is offering 0% and no BT fees. Now that I'm down to just 2 CC with a balance (both maxed though), would you guys recommend me applying for the Slate? I'm thinking IF I get approved, even if it's for a low limit, I can transfer some of my CSP limit over so I can BT the $13,850 card that I have for 0%. But odds of getting approved?

Thoughts? Thanks!

Re: Maxed out cards

Always try avoiding your cards all maxed out, its so not too good to have them maxed out when your credit reports comes in.. i was in a similar position and my CS dropped bad. Luckily i was able to secure a loan from a friend who happens to work a CHASE.. You might wanna try hitting him up, i am sure he would be able to fix you up on your credit card debts
