I had an upaid medical bill from 2007. I received a notice from a collection agency in January of 2009. I sent them a Cease and Desist letter. I've have never heard anything more about this unpaid bill and it hasn't shown up on my credit. I may have paid this bill, but can't remember and can't find a record of it. I have also been to that hospital since then and they never said anything about it.
What should I do? Should I try to find out from the hosptial or should I just let it lie?
