Would you be willing to share the jist of what your original email to them said? and was email your original way of contact?

I had already been in contact with the COO from a previous Debt Validation leter I sent over and so, I sent him an e-mail directly and said

 

"Mike,

Are you willing to settle this debt with me and remove it from my files if we can come to a settlement offer?
 
This isn't an admission of debt but an attempt to get this removed from my file in an attempt to purchase a home."
