Medical Collection ? currently appealing w/ insurance co

I am waiting on a decision from insurance company. they may decide to pay the claim because i did have insurance.

in the meantime should I dispute the collection? leave it alone or something else? DV?

What is really weird is they have the wrong ss# - found this out when i disputed the ss# with credit bureau

You've already disputed it with the CRA? 

I would send a DV to the CA.  Is it your debt?  What became of the disputed SSN?

i didnt dispute the collections. I disputed an alternative ss# listed on my report. and they told me it was linked to that collection.

I didnt dispute the collection at that time because i was waiting to hear from the insurance company regarding the appeal.

I guess i am just getting tired of waiting.
