I had a medical collection on my credit history and so I got into contact with the hospital and was able to pay off the rest of the bill through them.
They sent me a ledger history, receipt, and letter saying:
"To Who It May Concern:
XXXXX had an oustanding balance with our facility of $145 that was turned over to a collection agency in 2010.
The balance of $145 was paid in full today by XXXXXX and he now has a 0 balance.
........."
So the bill is paid for, however, when I spoke with the lady she said that this would still remain on my credit history but just say that it was paid for. Is it still possible to remove that from my credit history? Or is that it.
All you can do is ask for GW deletion of the collection.
Do I send that to the hospital or the collection people?
Send it to whomever is reporting to your CR.
The Collector that is reporting it on your CR.
