I have done some research on my alleged medical collection. the date of service was in sept 2005.  according to SC law the SOL is three years.  my question is will sending the CA a PFD reset the SOL?

This is my second post for this question nobody answered the last one.   Please help!! Thanks in advance.

Re: Medical Collections Question

Thanks laz98.

Do you by any chance know if sending a PFD to the CA resets the SOL?

Re: Medical Collections Question

It depends on your state's SOL.  In CA, an actual payments resets, or signed payment agreement (I believe).  There are state resources on this site that can provide you with links to find out more.  Good luck!
