I have a question, my DH has 4 medical collections on his CR, I had planned on paying them, but after reading the HIPPA process I am not sure if I am doing the right thing. Would I have better luck having them removed, if I just pay them off as usual, and then proceed with the HIPPA process. It seems that the process is much more effective on PAID medical collections. Please advise!!!! Ive got my check book in hand ready to pay these bad boys.... LOL
