Going through my report trying to fix and (when possible) delete anything I can, and I've run into a question.
I have two medical collection accounts that I recently PIF. However, I just came across this information on the internet: "Pay close attention to any tradelines for medical debt. Medical debt tradelines are not allowed to list the name of the institution where the medical care was received. If the institution is listed, this is against the recently modified FCRA and the tradeline must be removed."
Is this accurate? The institution IS listed by the CA in both tradelines on my report. Is there a way to go about getting these items removed for a FCRA violation?
Yes, it is a part of te FACT Act. The link below will give you Fari credit reporting act open it and search for medical.

My medical collections list the medical provider. They are all paid. Should I contact the CRA or the OC about this? Also isn't it a HIPPA violation to list the name of the provider?
