Re: Midland Success!

Congrats.

I never understood the mindset for some CAs where they refused to delete a tradeline after PIF. After all, isn't the entire purpose of collection to collect a debt? And isn't the point of reporting a negative account to CRAs to give the individual incentive to pay the debt, in order to receive another form of credit or employment?

If the culture was such that if PIF accounts resulted in deletion or removal of "negative" status by default, in my opinion, accounts would get PIF much more often, and much more quickly.

Re: Midland Success!

Any tips how to get rid of them?  I've tried numerous times and all they will do is update it to show paid.

Starting Scores 10/12: EQ 460 (FICO)/TU 502 (FAKO)/EX 474 (FAKO)
(7/14): EQ 572 (FICO)/TU 624 (FICO)/ EX 612 (FICO)

Current (2016): EQ 605 (FICO)/TU 657 (FICO)/EX 646 (FICO)

Who did you contact?

I have an account I have been trying to PFD and they won't budge. Can you PM me the number used or the person you contacted?
