Re: Midland/T-Mobile Account

I'm in the same situation. I called T-Mobile and they verified that the balance was correct and that I could pay either T-Mobile in full or settle with Midland. But I would definitely verify who owns the account first.

Re: Midland/T-Mobile Account

Would I need to speak with just General Customer Care or is there a specific department I need to call with re: this?

Re: Midland/T-Mobile Account

They should be able to tell you if they own the account still. If They don't own the account but still ask for payment, don't. That means they charged off the account and won't be able to take payment.

Re: Midland/T-Mobile Account

I just called the 800 number from their website and asked to speak to someone in the billing department.

Re: Midland/T-Mobile Account

T-Mobile/Midland is offering $114 (paid in full) on the $192.

Sounds like a steal to just get it off my report.

Well - at the same time, wouldn't that still leave a 'sort of negative' remark on my file?

Re: Midland/T-Mobile Account

Looks like Verizon Wireless finally removed the past due TL from my credit score -- been hanging around there since 2011.
