Midland help,,,Threatening Email

Yes, I do owe Midland for First Premier and Credit One CO.  I received this email.  Not sure if it's for real or a scare tactic??? Pretty "unofficial"

This is pretty much a scam, official communications come via US Mail not email. No creditor is going to notify you they are going to sue they just do it. I would report this to the proper authorities as a phishing attempt.

A quick google on the phone number comes back with tons of scam reports.

Email is not a valid accepted method of communicating a debt - ever. Send it to the spam folder.
