Re: Midland

None of the CAs that list themselves as a factoring company buy accounts in good standing.  Even the CRAs recognize that.  They are the same as a debt buyer.

Re: Midland

I am having this problem too. I have an HSBC account in collection with Portfolio Recovery and a T-mobile account in collection with Midland. They report on one or two of my reports as '120 days past due'. It seems EQ is considering them open accounts instead of collections, and only show my NCO collection as an actual collection. Experian shows the first two as installment accounts. They are regular collection accounts on TU. I don't get it.
