Minimum score for Capital One??

I'm helping my husband rebuild. He has no credit cards--what's the minimum score needed to qualify for the platinum? He's at about 568 EX.

That's roughly what hubby had when he got approved. But it's not just the score, it's also the credit profile. I got approved without a score, but I had clean reports.

He keeps getting the pre-qualified offers, however he does have 7 medical collections. Does anyone get approved with a profile like that?

Can you check the cap one prequal site and see if any offers shows up. They are normally pretty solid on their offers.

Yeah We went ahead and pulled the trigger. SL $300 , but I guess it's a start

At least he's in.  Heavy usage followed by PIF behavior will likely put him in line for a solid bump up to $750-$1000 in 6 months time.  His scores will probably be around 600 as well assuming health credit behavior for 6 months.
