Right so the question is, I have 2 CCs now from CU. Does it make sense to get some big bank cards?

One more in your name could help as being an AU is sometimes overlooked as the creditor wants to see your real score.

"national" cards - Amex, MC, VISA, Discover are just as good whether issued by a CU, local bank, or national company.

Good stuff...I have only one Credit card from Capital One. Opened June 2000, $4,000 limit. Balance is currently high but I will pay down in next month or so.
Only other is where I'm AU for Macy's charge it has $0 bal.

Sould I apply for more credit?
