I decided to try the email path... a gentleman named Judson is listed as the CEO of Citi Cards (there's a new-this-month CEO of the Citibank division, but I think cards are separate still). 

The email didn't bounce, I'll see if they're able to offer a bit of goodwill via email even though I decided to do this at 10pm on a Friday. Not expecting to hear anything for a few days

I would love the email pm'd as well.  I have a similar situation; I eneded up working with MMI (Money Management International) as a debt mamagement program, and even though I am done with the program now and the account is paid it shows several lates from when the program first began.
