I would close Horizon card.
Apply for secured cards. You can try local credit union or open sky secured card.
Unfortunately can't help you much more. Hope other members will give you more valuable information.

I don't remember getting that Horizon Card. Found the number to cancel it lol.

It is dangerous just to have this card. I think you should call and cancel it. Also check for some time is there is any activity and if they truly cancel the card. Save yourself a headache.

GOT A CALL AT WORK FROM COLUMBIA CREDITS TODAY, YET AGAIN WHEN I TOLD THEM LONG AGO TO NOT CALL SINCE THEY HAVE MY CELLPHONE #. SAID THEY FILED

PAPERS TO GET A JUDGEMENT ON ME TODAY AND I COULD PAY $391 NOW BEFORE IT WENT THROUGH. I WILL GO AND PAY THEM BEFORE IT GOES FURTHER BECAUSE I DON'T WANT A NASTY JUDGEMENT ON MY CR. BUT I JUST CONTACTED CFPB ABOUT THE ON THE JOB CALLS TODAY. THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY DIDN'T LIKE ME ASKING FOR A PFD, WHICH THEY STILL TELL ME IS IMPOSSIBLE AND OUT OF THERE HANDS AND IM FULL OF ****.

THEY WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME THEN THEY WILL HAVE TO PAY TO!

Consider also BBB if they win't stop. But to pay it off is a good idea but get everything in writing.
Have you sent them DV letter?

I contacted CFPB and my SOL in my state is 6 years;(

I was suggested by a credit counselor in town that I should get a secured credit card like Open Sky because I needed this to go with my car loan to start building my credit again. But still pay off my bad debt. She told me to just do the minimum of $200 for that card. What do you guys think about Open Sky? I was looking at it and they don't ding my credit and report to all 3 which is very nice.
