May Update:
No changes in scores. Utilization is currently mid-teens (15% ish). No new apps as I'm in the garden.
Since my April update:
Total credit limits: $67,150 (just about half that onbank cards).
Still dealing with a TU issue. Haven't updated that score because it's wrongly suppressed by their mistake. Hopefully it's fixed by the end of this month.
Still hoping to garden until May 2018 when my inquiries drop to less than half of what they are now. Carrying some balance on cards with 0% right now. Plan over the summer is to pay all those down. If my TU gets fixed and goes above 700 (currently showing at 670 ish) in June I'm going to go for $10k on Marvel, Amazon and Care Credit (maybe more??) and $6k on TJ Maxx. No plans to try for more CLIs on AE ($3,500) or WM ($6,000). They have sufficient limits for me for now and I want to watch my overall Synchrony exposure. I'd love to get CC more in the $20k range. I want to have breast reduction surgery in the next 2 years and in case my insurance won't cover it, I'd like plenty of cushion there.
So still trucking along. Plan to be mostly "rebuilt" in 2 more years and will have clean, thick files in 3 years (SL derogs will come off summer of 2020!).
Since my last post:
Slight dip in scores due to higher util. Will be paying offa bout $8k this month so hope to regain some ground.
Added PayPal 2% (to replace QS as a daily driver)
CLIs:
Target from $2,000 to $5,000. MC upgrade
VS from $1550 to $1850
Care Credit from $7,000 to $12,000
Ann Taylor from $1000 to $1500
TJ Maxx from $4,000 to $10,000
American Eagle from $3,500 to $4,000
Macy's from $1,800 to $3,300 to $4.800
Marvel from $5,000 to $8,000
Discover IT from $6,200 to $6,700
I'm at $91,650 and hopefully will get my AMEX BCE tripled from $6k to $18k this November, putting me over $100k.
It is time to close my GM Buypower card. Started at $300 and increased to $500 after 6 months. That was a year ago.
Because I have so many Synch cards now I'm going to stop requesting on the store cards and try to get the majors and Care Credit.
up. I mean, my TJ Maxx is $10k. I don't need $10k at TJ Maxx! I would like $15k-20k limits on Marvel, PayPal and Care Credit though.
Of course I want to continue to grow my other majors as well; AMEX BCE and Delta Gold and Disco. I'm done with Cap One for now and should probably close Merrick too. On the fence about my NFL Rewards card.
Wow $10k on TJ Maxx in a year and a half?? Hopefully they upgrade you to the MC soon, that's a nice limit for utilization padding, lol. I hope to add TJ Maxx soon, maybe next year as I've recently had an app spree adding 5 new accounts. But now I see it certainly has good potential so I will think it over.

Synch seems to love me. All of my accounts with them have grown tremendously. In the same time frame:
WM has gone from $150 to $6k
Amazon has gone from $700 to $5k
Care Credit has gone from $500 to $12K
Marvel is a newer card for me
I won't take a TJMaxx upgrade. I don't need it and don't want the new account that Synchrony will report with the upgrade. But the $10k is FANTASTIC padding! LOL!
Since my last post
Macy's $4,800 to $6,300
Discover $6,700 to $7,200
WalMart $6,000 to $10,000
Amazon $5,000 to $6,000
Care Credit $12,000 to $15,000
I've broken $100k! I'm at $107,300.
I need to close BuyPower ($500) and Capital One QS1 ($2,600). Cap One hasn't given me a CLI since August 2016 and won't upgrade my QS1. I will close it before the annual fee hits. I should close Merrick too. If I can get my Barclay's NFL Rewards up, I'll let Merrick go. I want to have at least one VISA card. I have 2 AMEX, 1 Discover and a crap ton of Master Cards!
You've broken into the 700 club, AWESOME!! Are your EX and TU files clean of all derogatories?
Oh I've been in the low 700s on those two. Can't get any points on EQ though. ugh.
All of my reports are free of derogs except for student loan lates from 2013/2014. I have a lot of student loan debt though so with that, my car and a personal loan, my "outstanding loan balances" is causing me to be dinged. Plus those old late payments. They come up as a factor every time. So people's belief that they don't "matter as much" isn't true for scoring.
Congratulations on your rebuild so far! Have you tried the upgrade link for capital one already?
Absolutely awesome work MrsCHX. You are a real trooper and a warrior to boot! Congratulations
