After being irresponsible with my credit my entire adult life I decided to repair/rebuild so that I could hopefully buy a home January 2013. I ordered my cr 01/12 and had a total of 24 derogatory items and only 1 positive. I started disputing some items that I believed to not be mine. As a result of the disputes and some that fell off I am now down to 9 derogs. Should I start sending out PFD to those 9, and if so should I aim for the ones with the lower balance first?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions on what my next step should be.
You should also Start building positives now as well, a small credit card, A secured loan, etc. Two positive and current tradelines are a good thing, if you pay well from now on, it will help.

I currently have 1 auto loan never late, and 2 credit cards. My Orchard has already started reporting I'm just waiting on Cap1 to report.
I would start DV on all negs, then once you know they are yours and not mistakes(such as hospital forgot to bill insurance) don't pay on something someone else could still pay on. There is a little unknown secret I am about to share with you, if a hospital does not bill your insurance, some hospitals contract with insurance states they have to write it off and cannot bill you. IF you fall under this, do a 3way call with hospital and your insurance. But if you know its yours, like a co payment, try to resolve it.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I'm going to start writing my DV letters tonight.
