NCO

got a letter from nco, saying that further inquiry regarding underlying debt may be directed to oc, then saying they have removed account.  it has in fact been removed from cra.  can this account be resold to another ca?  should i pay oc to prevent this from ever popping up ever again?

Re: NCO

Yes and Yes!

They did same for me except I never received a letter, they just deleted my account after I sent a PFD. But I m going to pay them right away. I was prepared to pay it anyway, thats why I sent the PFD in the first place.

Yep, the OC can certainly get another CA involved if they so choose.    Paying them *might* prevent this from ever showing on your reports as a collection, assuming that the OC isn't reporting....
