I'm in the process of rebuilding my credit and of course establishing it is a challenge. Fico score 560-580. Bk discharged in 2006. 4 collections and 3 are being settled. Cap one card cl of $300 and finger hut at $500. Been looking for a car but not happy with interest rates so I got up to 9 inquiries on my credit. After being denied an auto loan from navy fed ( been a member for 1 year) and getting the courage from this forum ( thanks guys) I applied and was approved for a nrewards card for $1000. I am so happy and surprised. Just want to thank Navy Fed for giving me the chance and this forum for all its good advice. Hopefully will be applying and approved for an auto loan thru Navy Fed in a year.
