Hello Everyone again . My Journey here has been a roller coaster for the past several months,after trying to keep,and clean up my credit report
from Idenity theft,incorrect information,unscrupiless collections,efforts mixed up Credit Buerus mixiing up Wrong accounts,
hopefully I can be as clear as possible which made fighting on handling made this a complete fiasco,for the past several months
During my disputingfiling Fraudulent accounts. Blocking my credit reports.trying to get inquiries off from people using my Identity, Proving,me.My profile has not been updated sense 70's Addresses # I havent moved all only 3 places in my life..changed states just recently for a change of .6 yrs ago. never sold my orginal home kept that into a trust.for my grandkids
Problems im dealing with,.I had an account with Capital One & one account with HSBC, in 2011 I open that account under a business account, because my wife and own a very successful business in the 1990's Well she passes away 2002.She handle all our accounts,Credit cards,Banking, Me never handled or got involved she kept a tight ship. took all my schedules made my appiontments,arranged my flights hotels, i couldnt have the best parnter and wife in my life.spent most of my time in other countries,most of my life been in hotels,and airports, All our accounts, was tied up in Business paid off everything during thoughs time, no bills, paid cash, credit cards in the business, I dont want to make this a poor me which this is not the case! just a little background of my stupidity blindness,that angers me is about how corperates system Management is broken,handlling ,these issues. judgements cast do to someones credit report credit, files someone like myself,never did bother with,my credit profile until now and a person that more stable within himself.retirments.pays taxes,and suddenly in a battle with,some to i bought a car in Texas shopped on line approved for a payday loan cellar from another state I never shop on line and never bought any cars on line. Why ? .files and filed.many forms but wait !my arguments are frivulous. (562) (605) and (587) not only on my reports are 3 negs, a $58 $702.and a cable bill from i am not sure in 2012 was in brazil duing $289 orginal and collection now owe ($1249) I can pay them off split seconds but trying to find out if they where fraudulent. Address was from an old apt my son rented,why on my credit ,? I keep getting applications approval from that address and besides all makes no sense,practically.no credit that becomes a chase to find oui all my credit are freezed for 7 yrs my credit reports. but handling an issue .i can't get done .i need se before I hand it over to someone more capable .than I me no patiences any more
Again.i uderstand anyone oweing a debt Honest collections have the right to presue and collect there debt. I didnt know these laws about, compliants, FTC,,CRBA, Regulations,
and mainly these fico scores, because i never had these issues back thoughs days and luckly never had aedny problems during the depression ara, i may seem to be rambling, but im fraustrated ! angered and here I feel im not alone,Thank you Forum for this opprotunitity to help understand and learn all about CRA.Collections and what to do about protectioning yourself.of being a victim,identity theft its not fun and concerning,
on that Note: There was a problem with me handling one of my disputes back in jan 21 2014, i was disputing, this account i mention above HSBC / CAPITAL ONE and Collection Agency .which came into the picture a month later after I had been disputing HSBC.like before Ihad an account due to me opening and busines account ting to make up the past.and getting back into business, in short I closed that account due to a charge on a Debit account .this was a checking Debit .in fact they owe me haha. but this HSBC charge off . i didnt know what this account was me with ichy fingers i immediatly contacted Equafax for assistance, because I signed up with them back in Sept 2013 thouight it would help,nice talk over the phone,I should have been very gullable,anf after, that its been a fiasco one problem after another,I disputed this HSBC "NOT MY ACCOUNT" charge off/ transfered /Sold To and in the report Capital one was the holder of this account, .well that was great . i contacted the Cap1 and asked if they an account in collection from HSBC opejn XX date and my SS .there response was none welll my dispute kept coming back 4 times I keeped disputing and this account they responded 2/3 days back they verified the account and this account belongs to me.may i add my credit is very thin i never have used my account for over 13 years when my wife pasts away i started appling for credit in 2010 and personal card I had was CAPITAL ONE always paid in full every month in good standings, but my credit reads very little credit at my age its not good, thats why im here to build my personal credit ok Capital One again. Reported my Account in good Standing and i asked they send me a letter this is the only account i have and the rep and fraud department also stated if that account HSBC was here it will definately be on your account as well.
WELL ok . I CALL THE CREDIT AGENCY .EQUAFAX and spoke to a rep, and explained what capital one mention and explained that i disputed this account 4 times and explained.how can i get some details. and The Women responded back do you want to dispute or not I paused and I responded "well yes" but " she hung up.. Two days after I tried to log onto my Capital one account . and got a message..please contact us your account has been temp restricted ? when i coo rentacted capital one. recording said a new card was sent strange and when the the rep .came on i explain she looked it up and told me my account was closed due to someone reported my account was open fraudulent application. well. me being upset got the fraud departement, and a gentlemen when i told him and he told me and understanded the mess up and said he was goingto call me back Monday to resolve this with the credit agency. great . no call to days . i contacted Capital one again i got a different person Female and tells me the opposite we cant open the account you have to reply again . AGAIN .. your fault.And Credit agency fault.they are telling me i need to reapply and after they accused me i opened this account fraudulently. while i said. what agencies reported it fraudulent account. she would not give me any details. like a guessing game. hmmm. but she did added a 4th one. so off i go to a wild goose chase getting every report i can possible find learning some other agency has files ive been applying for small loans on line.Calarity an inquiry on my report without my perrission and I have to send them my ID SS# to get what they have on my . "Fat chance".thats how my identity been compromized.
wind this up getting to the point .now this collection comes on my report . collecting for HSBC ok i contacted them and asked can you send me a affidavitt infomation to show me this account a validation . after i gave them a correct address they didnt have and after i told them my inforamation. the rep them tells me it will take 60/90 days to validate.because i changed address . i did not change address and how can you validate this account is mine to a credit agency when you didnt have my correct information . appearantly i just validated for you by calling. well .3 days later i get a letter from Capital one about HSBC with my correct address stating my account in response toward my dispute they responded.they had sold the accound to CALVARY PORFOLIO SERVICES .and HSBC will update any report to credit agencies and now Capital one is also reporting the same charge off . 3 collections and one canceled Credit Card. all from one Call to a credit agency "Nice" one charge off I been looking tried to validate for 4 months

I thought about just giving up but if i do that .
my wife wouldnt allow that .
so if anyone can help me by a dificult request . by having a contact .# email .corperate person with some intellegents and less BS .broken promises
i would like to contact them to clear up this mess .and i have learned and read all post regarding 'dont go and attack mode" im just dissappionted with there
policy and how they handled this and swiped it under the rug. with a letter they are happy to let me know they closed the account and removing all from my credit .like 4 years of loyal . payments , gone . yes i am happy as well ..thank
i would appreciated if anyone can or have some advise.ive done almost everything.i can do . to keep a possitive action in place .
i can hire a lawyler if it comes to it

Wow... what a mess. Someone got your information and went on a shopping spree. First off, stop disputing. This is not a dispute situation. This is fraud. In order to get the fraudulent TLs off, you will have to fill out a fraud affadavit. Fill that out and send to the CRA.
As far as re-opening the card. I don't see that happening. Maybe if you contact Cap1 EO they might be able to help you, but I'm just not sure about that.
