I have a fico of 629 with a few collections and public record
I have attempted to pay for the collections with a pay to delete method (no reply as of today I will update as soon as i see a counter)
I also have opened a few secured cards
Cap on 750
BOA 500
and the dreaded First Premier
The CAP one shows 22 months of payment history
The BOA shows three
And the First premier shows 7 months
I want to pay out the first premier and close it
WILL THAT AFFECT my Score
also I have the public record falling off in SEPT 2014 and 2 out of 5 collections are scheudled to fall off next month
I WANT TO BUY A HOUSE IN 2015 and need the insoght
I also have some store cards which I am using and Paying if FULL
walmart 500
macys 600
chevron 600
fingethutt 1400
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT thanks for being a blessing

Let the public record fall off, good riddance, and the 2 collections that are scheduled to be excluded too. Keep working on the other onces, PFD, GW, etc. and garden those CCs. Get them paid down and get your util down.

Ok cool but what first premier just keep it open or will it effect me later
The FP closing will hit you immediately in the utilization category but remain on file for up to 10 yrs post close to help with AAoA, I would wait until your next AF to close it though. You need 3 revolving bankcards so I would try to replace it with an unsecured before closing it as well.
