Do I send them via email, or send them via snail mail? Are there examples of these that I can see somewhere?

Search GW Sample here in the forums and you'll find several GW letters. The main point is to use these samples as a guide and write your own letter that is geared towards your own experience. I think most are mailed regular mail, though some here have been successful using email addresses as well. There is no one GW form letter that will work...you have to create your own, but the samples here should help you with the idea.

So I continue to contact them (via phone), and they continue to tell me that they do not delete. However, the lady (who was extremely pleasant to speak with) told me that maybe I should dispute it.
Is this a good idea?
I would go the GW route. I had a situation like this with Kansas Counselors due to the same reason. I sent them a GW letter and they sent me a reply back and removed it.
