Need advice: Should I GW?

I need your advice folks.  I have been trying to GW CapOne...unsuccessfully.  But it's been a few months and would like to try again.

I just pulled myfico today and this is what shows:

30 days late = 1 time (Nov. 2003)

60 days late = 1 time (Nov. 2003)

90+ days late =  2 times (Jan. 2004, Dec. 2003)

So I'm at the 5 year mark of DOFD, I know it will fall off in 2 more years but would like to see if CapOne would accept my GW to remove it.  I know many of us here have not had any luck with CapOne & GW, should I even try?

Thanks in advance!

llecs, what phone number did you use to call CapOne?

I can't remember. It would either be one listed on a CR or one listed on their website.

Re: Need advice: Should I GW?

1st class stamps are cheap.

you could also try to find the personal emails of the company directors and send email directly to them.\

you can file you case with planetfeedback and other similar sites.

the amount of time you want to invest in it is directly proportion to how important it is for you to see the lates off your CR.

Also try calling. I got a 30 and a 9 off TU only after a phone call.
