From your post, I’m assuming this is your only card. If this is the case, please ensure a small balance reports every month before you pif.
As for another secured card, you can get another one OR you can age your current card for a few months (about 6) and apply for an unsecured card.
If/when you choose to get another card, practice AZEO. (All zero except one = all cards report a zero balance except one).
