Congrats texan.  The provides me with a little more encouragement to send off my latest attempt got a CA to either validate or quite reporting.  I am surprised you received such a detailed response to the caselaw you quoted.  I hope the same thing doesn't happen to me...but, then again, it worked out for you in the end!

Yes, I was surprised by that as well and it kinda scared me away for a bit, but I knew they were in the wrong and I couldn't just give up. I'm glad I replied with that letter. I guess they thought their letter would have shut me up or confused me about my rights. I'm glad I had this forum to turn to for advise.
