Need help with Chase bank.

I have a decent fico score of over 730

I have platinum cards with AMEX, Barclays, and other Banks.

However I can't get ANY cards from Chase since I defaulted on some cards many years ago. It wasn't even a lot of money. Was just going through a very difficult time financially.

How can I get them to let me start over?
Even a low minimal credit line?

Is there anyone at Chase that I can speak to?

Are there any options or am I doomed forever with Chase?

I am looking to get either the United airlines card (for the free luggage) or a Hyatt hotel branded card.
Every application is declined due to PREVIOUS history with Chase.

FYI, I have a mortgage with Chase, but that doesn't help either.

Any suggestions?

They were charged off about 5 years ago.
Is paying it back an option?
How do I go about doing that?

Call them and request to pay it off. I would do more research on them. I'm not sure they'll give you another card until the CO falls off your reports.

Are they still on your reports?

My brother wasn't approved until his charge off from chase fell off.

It's internal. They are no longer on the reports.
I need someone at Chase to work with me and help me clear this up. Chase seems to have blacklisted me internally.

Call them and speak with someone in the recovery department..

Chase has a VERY long memory, they have been known to blacklist for bad WaMu accounts as well. It seems that after 10 years or so they might start to be forgiving, but, if you pay them, they might be a little more friendly

REMEMBER.. While the TL can only stay on your CR's for 7 years, they can keep it internally at Chase FOREVER

Your not completely doomed, but they do have a long internal memory.

I was able to get back in with Chase last year. I didn't burn them for anything, but had an account with a bank they bought out that was included in BK 14 years ago. It was cited when I reconned an app last year. They did end up approving me, just takes time.
