Hello all,
I'm new to this site however I've heard some great things about the advice given.. With that said I need some help increasing my scores.
TU 497, EF 585, EP 600. I have no credit cards only AU credit limit $2000, one auto loan good standing, student loans deferred, and 2 medical bills scheduled to fall off in August 2016. What should I do?
See if you can PFD before those medical bills are due to fall off. Look into secured cards from Capital one. We need more info to know how to help.
Thank you for responding.... What details do you need? And I call tomorrow or Monday to check on the PFD
Any other delinquencies, charge offs or late payments?
Who are the medical collections with?
Medical with paramont recovery & centurion. No charge offs and 2 late payments on auto loan 6 months ago.
You could also try for a Discover secured, if you have the money to deposit with them. It will be one year before they unsecure it and transform it to a regular card ( with on time payments and some use).

Don't worry about a PFD for the medical bills. You can call and ask for an EE (Early Exclusion) for them. TU will usually do EE's up to 6 months early, EX about 2/3 months, and EQ 1 month.
+1
Honestly, the last thing I would do on the medical bills is reach out to the collection agency.
Even if you don't attempt (or aren't successful with) the EE, if you simply wait a little longer they will age off your reports in a little over three months; if you 'poke-the-bear' you could inadvertently cause yourself more problems.
I would definitely look into getting a secured card. Once August rolls around and the medical collections drop off, you might even be able to qualify for a Capital One Platinum depending on your score bump.
Hang in there!
