This one is for my dad. He had a sears charge card. He ordered an appliance and it was sent back.Then he order three more appliances and when the sears installation came to install the dimensions were inncorrect. At that time he sent back these appliances back and never signed any delivery order ackowledging receipt as they went back with the installation service men. Sears took more then 6 months to actually credit the account. I have a papertrail stating that the charges were erroneous and payment could not be made as it would constitute an admission of charges. He was being charged nearly 4,000 for said appliances that were never accepted. The only appliance excepted was a wall oven for 855$ when sears finally credited the account properly the balance was paid andboth charges were closed by my father. Now his credit report states not only that he had 3 lates but a chargeoff as well. Can someone give me the language about the 1,000 fines for each and every item that is being reported that they knew to be erroneous and false as the items were being disputed.

RoberEG is the one that would know the quotes on those things. I would suggest a direct dispute with Sears to try to rectify it first.
