I just went through a divorce when my wife left me. During the last few years of my marriage our credit went from great to trashed. I will be filling chapter 7 in September. My current FICO scores are TransUnion (520), Equifax (508) and Experian (499). Once I get my chapter 7 discharge I plan on rebuilding my credit to something respectable.
Any hint on what to do besides to obvious things like paying bills on time. I want to make the effort go get my credit score to decent levels within one to two years. Any suggestions?
