As the title says, I was able to delete the address from my reports that was attached to this TL. I was going to send a 623 letter to the OC since I had disputed it once and it came back verified. What should I do now? Do you recommend disputing the TL since the address has been deleted that was associated with it? Thank you in advance.
How is the TL reporting incorrectly is the question. If you have proof, then a 623 direct dispute with proof would be a good option.
It was a repo. Loan started 4/2009. Originally repo'd 7/2009 after falling behind 30 days. Recovered the vehicle next day after I became current. Repo'd again 3/2010, recovered the vehicle next day after PIF.
CR is showing "OK" from start of loan until first repo (4/2009-6/2009). Then "30" in 7/2009. After that, every month shows "ND" until randomly "R" (repo) 8/2011.
So it looks like I got lucky on the first repo as they only reported it as a "30", but when the second repo happened, they have "ND". The last thing they have is the "R" 8/2011 which was almost a year after the actual repo. I paid the loan in full the day after the second repo.
Under account history they have:
Repossession as of 8/2011
30 days past due as of 7/2009

ND just means "No Data", doesn't count against anything, just means no data so it's not a negative. There should be no listing updated in the monthly after the debt was paid off. I would try a GW to remove at first, start nicely. If it's a no go, then I'd do a 623 direct dispute with them citing when it was paid off.
Would the GW letter affect that they aren't reporting the correct address? The address associated with this tradeline is no longer on my reports. I would prefer to keep that address off of my reports. It sounds shady, but I guess I'm looking to erase my rocky past as it doesn't reflect my current credit relationships.
If they honor the GW request, it would remove all indications of the account so none of it would appear on your CR. So it wouldn't put anything back on there.
