Never thought I'd be good enough for prime cards.. Update!.

Thanks to everyone in the rebuilding forum for helping me to rebuild me & DHs credut enough to grab some nice cards.

I though that I'd be working on my credit for another year, at the very least. And for DH, I thought that we'd have to wait for his COs to fall off in the fall, but from the advice of ppl in this forum, from 2 months of GWing and PFDs - we've gotten our credit to a decent place to secure some decent cards. I am very happy with our current trends and very thankful to all of you who've contributed. People here are so knowledgeable and I TRULY appreciate that!!!!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping us to rebuild.

We snagged these today...

Amex Green

(2) Discover IT cards

Amazon

Walmart

Chase United

NFCU Visa Siggy (thru PC)

As of 2/11, Chase Freedom - $4K CL  - successful recon!!

And it wouldnt have been possible without some great advice, knowledgeable responses, and spoken truths!

Congrats!!!

All 7 credit cards in one day though? Could be totally wrong, but isn't that a bad idea?

These are 7 cards that me AND DH snagged together. I only picked up the Discover, Amex, Chase, & PC'd to Visa Siggy. He picked up the others.  I'd agree that 7 cards for ONE individual in one day would probably be a bit too much for FICO purposes. But either way, I just cant wait for our scores to jump in 6-12months after we've gardened with these new accounts. Smiley Happy

Thanks!
