I have 8 baddies.
1 recently gone to collections (Mercantile) for an old utility bill I knew nothing of until I pulled my CR. I sent DV letter. If they verify, I am prepared to do a PFD.
Kohls - two 30 and one 60 day in 2009
Capital one - one 30 day 2011
Victoria Secret - one 30 day in 2011
Sent GW letters today
SYNCB/gap - settled with partial payement in Nov 2009
Card Member Service/US Bank -settled with partial payment Nov 2009
Chase/BP Oil - settled with partial payment in Nov 2009
CitiCard - settled with partial payment in Nov 2009
At the time I setteld I had no idea about PFD - ugh. I sent out GW letters today.
Card Member/US Bank is on my CR twice. Is that something I can address?
Unfortunately, I have a forclosue from my divorce . It is scheduled to be on record until June 2017. I guess there is nothing I can do about that? If the rest of your CR is clean except for that, how do mortgage companies feel about it?
I am keeping positive that I will have success. I'm a single mom and will be applying for a mortgage by myself (USDA).
