New member, need help improving score please!

Hello all, new to the message boards here. I was hoping I could get some advice on improving my score. I unfortunately had to file for bankruptcy back in June of 2010. Currently my scores are as follows:

TU - 631

EQU - 641

EXP - 644

I'm not sure how I can possibly get my scores to raise a little quicker than they have. It actually seems they are raising a bit slowly, though I have gotten approved for lines of credit with no interest for 12-24 months. Here is my current loan/debt.

Cap One Plat - Limit: $500 - Owe: $230

Cap One Best Buy - Limit: $1500 - Owe: $1100 (no interest until Dec. 2014)

GE Financial (bed) - Limit $2500 - Owe: $1600 (no interest 12 months)

Cap One Auto Finance - Balance: $12,989 - Interest 11.5% - 45 Months left (2010 Chevy Malibu)

TideWater Financial (furniture) - Limit: $2000 Owe: paid off

I've checked my credit report and some things say "discharged in bankruptcy" and some say "petitioned for bankruptcy" - is there a difference? is this something I need to dispute if it says petitioned instead of discharged?

Any advice on repairing my credit score would be highly appreciated. I really want to be able to refinance my car at a much lower rate buy my scores are preventing me from doing so. Aside from paying down balances is there anything else the may help?  Thank you again for any advice.

Hi ShackAZ and welcome to the forums. I would start by paying down those cards to below 9% UTIL. The accounts listed as petitioned for BK where those included in your BK discharged? if so they need to say so on your credit reports as IIB
