Thank you. As for the collections, I send a PFD is it is out of SOL? And what if it is not? Also, which state do you go by? The one I currently live in or the one in which the debt was accrued?

Normally, it is the state you live in. If you can pay in full you can send a PFD.

Any ideas about this two collections that seem like the same debt? When I do a search for the orginal creditor, it appears to be the same company.

I would send DV to the CAs before PFD, especially in the case where multiple CAs are reporting the same thing. You would want to be sure you are paying someone who actually OWNS the debt.

They probably are from the same OC. Even though both can be on your CR, only one can actively collect.
I would send a DV to both of them. If one responds, it shoud be the one who is collecting.
