SOL is set by each state UNLESS there is a federal statue. Phone have a fed statue.
All SOL means is that if a lawsuit is filed they can not win if you are past SOL. CRTP is the amount of time that anything can be reported to the CRAs.
When using the HIPAA process. Never contact the CA. All steps must be done in order.
opt-Out
File a medical dispute with all CRAs reporting
Send the OC letter to make payment OR to notify the OC that it should be deleted because there is nothing owed.
Follow up dispute
Medical disputes should always be hand written.
Restrictive endoresment........pay to the order of ( provider) on back of check.....for deposit only into the account of (name of provider)
