Newbie would appreciate some assistance

So I have pretty bad credit. Currently 529  Smiley Sad

its n mostly student loans which I am paying back on time every month through a rehabilitation program. Next month will be 9 months of payments made and I will be transferred to another lender who will report back and show that I am making payments. I'm hoping this will pull up my score. I'd like to buy a home in 2 years.

I had 3 collection accounts very recently added to my credit report. Crazy thing is, they are all bogus! One CA claims I owed $109 to AT&T when I closed my account, and the same CA claims I owed another $119 to AT&T for changing my phone number in 2010!! I called AT&T and they reassured me that I have no outstanding balance with them, and never had. despite calling the CA and telling them this, the woman argued with me and tried to "take care of this for only $70" jerks! I told them to immediately remove this from my report, and they refused. So I disputed online. One of the collection accounts changed which increased my score from 515 to 529. But it is still a collections on my credit report... It saus: PAID $0 balance. But it's still there!

The other collection account is for $1,061 From Comcast. I've never had Comcast nor have I lived in an area that even provides comcast... **bleep**? I disputed that as well. Now it states that consumer disputes reinvestigation in progress.

Other than that, I have no credit cards or store cards to help improve my score.

What can I do to help get my credit score up? (Besides pay on time Smiley Happy Any cards you recommend, or is there anything I should do to get started on fixing my **bleep** situation?

thank you!

Try the shopping cart trick. Soft pull for store cards. Search for it in the forum and you'll find all the info you need!
